Questions to Ask Any Care Home
Ask every home you visit these questions, including us. Here are our answers.
Is the Home Licensed?
Yes. Ask to see our licence when you visit, and check that the name on it matches the agreement you sign.
What Can You Care For, and What Can't You?
We care for adults with psychiatric conditions, dementia-related behavioural needs and autism-related support needs. We do not manage acute suicidality, active substance withdrawal or conditions requiring restraint. If another setting would serve your family member better, we'll tell you honestly at assessment.
What Does the Fee Include?
Fees start from RM 2,300 a month, subject to terms and conditions. This covers 24-hour nursing care and supervision, all meals and snacks, medication management, the daily activity programme, laundry and housekeeping, and a monthly psychiatrist review. A one-time refundable deposit of one month applies. Anything not on this list is set out in writing in the care agreement before you sign.
Who Is on Duty, Day and Night?
Nursing is led by registered nurses around the clock. Our nurse station is staffed 24 hours, and night staff check on residents through the night on the schedule set in each care plan.
How Often Do Residents See a Doctor?
Our visiting doctor oversees residents' general health, and our visiting consultant psychiatrist reviews every resident each month. Urgent reviews are arranged within 24 hours.
How Are Medicines Handled?
Every dose is charted on a medication administration record, with double-checked dispensing. Read how our medication charting works.
Are Men and Women Cared for Separately?
Yes. Men and women live in separate residences, and daily activities take place in separate men's and women's activity areas.
Can We See the Home Before Deciding?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome during visiting hours, or you can book a visit with our nurse manager.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Families Visit Any Time?
Visiting hours are 10am–12pm and 3pm–7pm daily. Outside these hours, visits can be arranged with the care team in advance.
How Are Medical Emergencies Handled?
We follow a documented emergency protocol: immediate nursing response, escalation to our visiting doctor, and transfer to a partner hospital nearby when needed. Families are informed at every step.
Will We Receive Regular Updates?
Yes — a named care coordinator shares structured updates with the family, and you can request a care review meeting at any time.
Can Residents Keep Their Own Doctor or Psychiatrist?
Yes. We coordinate with their existing specialists and can arrange escorted visits to appointments.
